Non personal information may include the Web browser you used to visit the Website, the time you visited the Website, which Web pages you visited on the Website, and other anonymous Website usage data. For example, when you visit https://fandomculture.ca, you need to know that we use third party services, such as Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. The information we collect includes unique identifiers, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, mobile network information including carrier name. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Google Analytics does not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. In addition, we use CDN (Content Delivery Network) to identify Geolocation of visitors to our website. We use this type of information to count the number and type of visitors that visit our website, and to constantly improve our website.
We automatically place single pixel gifs, also known as web beacons, in every email sent by our users. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable us and our users to recognize when their subscribers have opened an email or clicked certain links. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign. We use this data to create reports for our users about how an email campaign performed and what actions subscribers took.
